Fun Things to do in GTA V

Trust me, this list is never ending. But I’ve managed to shortlist it down to a few items. Let’s jump right in.

  1. Jumping (or biking)  off of Mount Chiliad

The sheer height of Mt. Chiliad attracts players to this destination. What’s even better is that Rockstar conveniently placed two dirt bikes at the summit, and a ramp. Combine these two, add a parachute, and have some fun! Jumping off Mt. Chiliad will never get boring.

  1. Stealing Stuff from the army base

The army base is one of the primary sources of fun in GTA V. It also offers one of the greatest challenges in the game – getting in, stealing whatever you want(tanks, jets, cargobobs, helicopters), and getting out without getting obliterated. With that being said, the invincibility cheat can be used, but it is still a challenge to get out without getting your vehicle annihilated by tanks and helis. Once you’ve successfully stolen the jet or tank, the ‘lower wanted level’ cheat can be used (Note that this must be done outside the army base, as there is a permanent 3 star level for entering the base. ) And after all this effort – Well done. You have just pwned the US Army. Enjoy flying your jet around Los Santos or running over cars with your tank.

  1. Fire trucks

The name might be a bit confusing but let me explain.

Step 1: Take your phone out and dial 911

Step 2: Select Fire Services

Step 3: Wait for the firetruck

Step 4: Quickly get rid of the driver before he drives away and steal the truck.

Step 5: Enjoy shooting water on people!

This might seem a little weird, but trust me its hilarious. Rockstar took the whole thing a little too seriously; shooting water on people can kill them, so be warned.

  1. Driving fast in the hills

Exploiting GTA V’s gravity defying laws of physics can be the source of even more fun. Get a fast car and drive around in the hills, and you will be astonished as to how high you can actually fly(Keep car repair money handy though, you’ll need to go to Los Santos Customs more often than you think). My personal favourite spot is the makeshift road behind the observatory that goes downhill.

As an addition to this, you can attempt to enter the army base by jumping over the fence on the south side in your car. Make sure the car isn’t too expensive though, cause you’ll probably get blown up.

  1. Watching the money roll in

Being a billionare in GTA V isn’t that hard. It just requires correct stock market manipulation.  With the help of Lester assassination missions, you can easily turn that 30 mil from the last heist into 1.5 bil . Watching the money roll in is the best part. Just click a few buttons, and you can afford all the Bugattis in the world. I mean, seriously. You’ll have so much money, you can literally by a new Bugatti every time you lose your previous one

  1. The Heists

These are the best part about GTA V. Watching that take increase in the bottom right of your screen as you fend away cops will send a chill down your spine. It just makes you feel good.

  1. Online

This is by far the most fun thing to do, provided you have friends with a good sense of humour. Whether it be racing or just plain time killing, your guaranteed to have a good time online.

  1. Cargobob

This ‘activity’ with the cargobob is surprisingly not very well known. All you have to do:

Step 1: Steal a cargobob from the army base

Step2: Hover over an innocent car (Make sure someone’s inside).

Step 3: Lower the cargobob’s hook and attach it to the top of the car and fly away!

(If you fly away or ascend too fast, the guy in the car will jump out.)Try ascending slowly to the top of the highest building in GTA V, and drop the car there. I’ll leave the passengers reaction as a surprise to you. (Hint: circles)

  1. Base Jumping

Base jumping from pretty much anywhere is fun. Nothing much to be said.

  1. Attempting to stop the train

Go ahead. I dare you. Try to stop the train. Even if you line up a 100 trucks, the train is not gonna stop. I’m not discouraging you; go ahead and try and block it. Be sure to tell me how far you were blown away.

(There is actually one way to stop the train. There will be a separate feauture for that later.)

  1. Driving the blimp

The atomic blimp is definitely fun to drive, and also is fun to park across the road on busy highways. That reminds me of one last thing…

  1. Blocking highways

Be it with a tank, firetruck, or just plain muscle power, blocking highways and watching people get out of their cars and run in panic is never getting old.

Hope this list gives you at least a months worth of fun things to do. If I missed anything, feel free to leave it in the comments.
